Marton Eged

Marton Eged is a distinguished bass player and dedicated music educator, who graduated from the prestigious Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in 2008. As an active contributor to the Hungarian music scene, Marton is regularly featured in festivals, clubs, and theaters, performing with a variety of acts. His skills are also sought after in the studio, where he excels as a recording artist.

Marton's musical versatility covers a wide array of genres including jazz, fusion, funk, pop, rock, and world music, which he passionately imparts to his students. In addition to his teaching role at IMS, Marton also instructs bass and jazz music theory at three other music schools, enriching the musical journey of numerous aspiring musicians.
