Joey Concepcion

Joey Concepcion, a renowed American guitarist from Connecticut, has rapidly ascended in the music world, drawing attention for his extraordinary virtuosity. His musical journey took a significant turn in 2013 when he, alongside IDS founder Marton Veress, was recruited by guitarist Christopher Amott to join Armageddon, a key figure in Swedish melodic death metal. Their albums "Captivity & Devourment" and "Crossing the Rubicon Revisited" received widespread acclaim.

Joey's performances in the United States, Japan, and Mexico, particularly his live guitar interactions with Amott, have been pivotal in his career. In a landmark move, Joey officially joined the renowned band Arch Enemy in 2024.

His career highlights are impressive, featuring collaborations with influential bands and artists across the metal genre, including Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquility, Michael Vescera of Yngwie Malmsteen, The Absence, Sanctuary, and vocalists like Jasta of Hatebreed and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.
